British luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin has sliced off the roof of its beautiful GT with new DBS Superleggera Volante. This super muscular car is powered with a V12 engine making it the company’s fastest convertible ever. The 2019 DBS Superleggera Volante convertible clock the top speed of 340 km/h with smoothest of experience. The company has always mesmerized its consumers with flagship DB models and Superleggera Volante is an exception to that. It has been provided with an 8-layer sandwich of insulation and acoustic enhancement and it will be available in eight different colors. Aston Martin is offering conventional 2×2 twill carbon fiber finish the window screen surround.
The convertible roof opens in 14 seconds and closes in 16 seconds and is controlled by Superleggera Volante’s key. The company says it has tested the mechanism over 100,000 cycles. On the mechanical side, it has been provided with a 5.2-liter V12 engine delivering the output of 712 horsepower and torque of 664 lb-ft. This car is so fast, it can clinch 0-62 mph in 3.6 seconds and 0-100 mph in 6.7 seconds. It is comprised of ZF 8-speed automatic transmission which especially beefed-up to handle the massive torque.
Moreover, a shorter drive of Superleggera Volante offers in-gear acceleration. Furthermore, the aerodynamics of this car enhances its performance creating 390 pounds of down-force which 7 pounds less than the coupe. It has a quiet start with an 8-inch touchscreen display and a 360-degree camera system. Options for Bang & Olufsen audio upgrade are available along with ventilated seats, full leather trim and different combinations of carbon fiber. The company has declared the price tag for DBS Superleggera Volante in starting from US$ 329,100
